web code monkey

Web coding enthusiast, mostly self-taught.

I'm interested in all the parts who constitute a full-stack web application. What does it mean? Developers usually describe the levels of an application as a stack because they (to some extents) stack one upon another, and "full" means that you have to be proficient in all of them. A full-stack developer is someone who can build a non-trivial application from scratch and by themselves.

techs / aspects i'm familiar with:

Domain setup • https • Debian Linux • bash • Apache • SEO • MySQL / MariaDB • InnoDB • Perl • XML • HTML5 / CSS3 / JS • responsive layout • Ajax calls • social login interfaces • Google Maps interface

here i would need to scrape off some rust:

ANSI C • ASM • Tomcat • Java/JSP • PostgreSQL • Eclipse • Cordova (ex PhoneGap, it's a cross-platform app builder)

looking into / limited knowledge of:

JSON • nginx • node.js • Python

please don't ask me to work:

in PHP • with jQuery (unless you want to get rid of it) • with ORMs • for exposure (the day your lawyer, your plumber, your dentist and your physician will accept "exposure" as a currency, so will I)

unrelated interests / likes
